These are my favorite summer shoes!  When I’m traveling in hot weather and walking around cities like New York, Athens, and Tel Aviv, I won’t wear anything else!  I’ve had several people want to buy my shoes right off my feet once they tried them on. Why?  Because they are so darn comfortable.  The sandals are a great way to start your MBT experience especially if you are injured or lack balance and coordination.  Great for people with wide feet, narrow feet or any other unusual foot shape because the sandals are completely adjustable at all three straps.  *note the brown sandals are all leather and the black sandals have a synthetic foot pad.

Choosing your size
MBT’s should fit snuggly; you don’t want to have the heel sliding up and down while you walk.  So if you are in between sizes, go for the smaller size.  If you feel your heel sliding, make sure to wear thick socks.  For the sandals, you can adjust them so they fit your feet perfectly. 

Quality
Don’t let the price scare you, even after a year of daily use, there is practically no sign of wear to the shock absorbing wedge, these shoes last!  Even though these shoes were made for walking, you can certainly build up to trotting and running in them.  We don’t suggest you wear them in the snow or rain and don’t ever put the shoe into extreme flexion as it can possibly break the fiberglass/carbon plate in the shoe.

MBT is for everyone It’s the worlds smallest gym.  Gentle, active rolling instead of repeated compression leads to relaxed, natural standing and walking.  Muscular tensions decrease and the muscles become more balanced.

MBT is not a normal shoe,
rather it is a training tool: therefore, one cannot simply put them on and go.  Walking in MBT requires a simple learning session, and each MBT comes complete with training video, special MBT exercise instructions and application instructions.  The correct application is an important requirement for successful and healthy walking in MBT.

What to expect
As use of MBT sometimes can involve the realignment of the musculature, when MBT's are first used users may experience some discomfort, but this soon passes in most cases.  As with any piece of health and fitness equipment, if you experience any on-going discomfort you should cease use immediately and consult your doctor.  If you are to use MBT to treat specific injuries or medical conditions, you must consult a qualified MBT trainer.
